Hampton Planning Board, Member
Former Chair, Master Plan Implementation Committee
Seacoast Drinking Water Commission, Member
Coastal Hazard Adaptation Team, Member
Ward will bring the same practical, disciplined approach to Concord.
Hampton families deserve a State Rep who takes property taxes, strong schools, and our community's future seriously. Ward is a practical problem-solver who will make sure Hampton's priorities are heard—and acted on—in Concord.
Responsible Stewardship of Your Tax Dollars
Property taxes are too high; that burden falls on Hampton homeowners and renters. Ward will work to ensure that state funding decisions are not shifted onto local property owners.
Schools Worth Investing In
Good schools educate children and are the heart of a healthy town. From an economic standpoint, good schools protect our property values. Ward understands the state has an obligation to fund public education properly – a responsibility that the state shirks. Ward will vote for the state to meet its financial responsibilities so that Hampton families will not have to choose between their tax bills and their kids' classrooms.
Smart Growth, Protected Character
Hampton is growing. Ward knows that growth done right means planning for roads, water, infrastructure, and the kinds of neighborhoods that make people want to stay. His work on the Master Plan Implementation Committee and Planning Board will be a vital asset to the work done in Concord to increase housing stock across the whole state.
Housing That Works for Real People
Affordable housing determines whether young families and working people can afford to live here. Ward supports thoughtful approaches that expand housing access without sacrificing the qualities that make Hampton home.
